HubBox secures £6m investment to expand global out of home delivery network

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve raised £6 million in growth funding to accelerate our mission of making out of home (OOH) delivery the default option for e-commerce. The round was led by Puma Growth Partners, a leading provider of growth capital to scale-up businesses.

This investment will support our expansion across the UK, Europe, Japan and the US – and allow us to deepen our partnerships with couriers and onboard more retailers worldwide.

Why we started HubBox

We founded HubBox in 2015 to address the frustration of missed home deliveries and rising demand for more convenient, flexible delivery options. Our software lets retailers offer local pickup points at checkout, which improves customer satisfaction, boosts delivery success rates and helps couriers operate more efficiently.

Our solution integrates with over 1,000 retail systems and supports all major courier OOH networks. Today, we’re proud to serve thousands of retailers globally – including Gymshark, Selfridges, Macy’s, Gap and Birkenstock.

Built for couriers, designed for retailers

Our model is built around collaboration with major couriers like UPS, DPD, Royal Mail, DHL, Asendia and PostNord. Through our Funded License Program, couriers fund access to HubBox software on behalf of retailers for an initial term. This drives rapid adoption and positions HubBox as the go-to OOH solution across the sector.

OOH delivery is growing fast – from $29 billion in 2024 to a projected $54 billion by 2030. Yet fewer than 1% of retailers currently offer pickup at checkout. We believe that’s a huge missed opportunity, and we’re ready to change that.
