HubBox has built a Click and Collect app for Shopify, allowing retailers using the e-commerce platform to access the same technology that leading high-street retailers such as Jack Wills and Warehouse employ in order to offer their customers Click & Collect.

Through the Shopify App store, any Shopify retailer requiring a nationwide Click and Collect solution can easily integrate the plug-in into their checkout, giving them and their customers instant access to over 4,000 Collect Points across the UK from which to collect deliveries. International retailers will also be able to offer in-store Click & Collect using the Connect solution.

With Amazon and the fast fashion marketplace increasingly influencing consumers’ expectations when it comes to delivery, being able to provide the fulfilment options that shoppers are accustomed to is key to generating repeat orders for retailers. 58% percent of shoppers surveyed said they would abandon cart and shop at a competitor if they were unsatisfied with the available delivery options.

HubBox already provides the Click and Collect solution for over thirty partner retailers on Shopify, including popular fashion brands such as Maniere De Voir, Yoga Rebel and Lazy Oaf.

“HubBox has been the most effortless e-commerce success to date. It easily plugs into our Shopify website to offer our customers a Click & Collect option that is both affordable and hassle-free for us, what a win-win”.

Whilst Click and Collect is a popular option for consumers who want to avoid missing parcels, there are numerous technological barriers that typically reduce implementation rates amongst retailers, particularly small and independent ones.

“Until now, the cost of development and the fact that most Click and Collect services are tied to specific couriers has inhibited widespread uptake,” said Sam Jarvis, CEO and founder at HubBox. “With the release of this plug-in, implementing Click and Collect requires literally no changes to fulfilment and has a timeframe which you can measure in minutes, not weeks”.

With a low flat monthly fee and per parcel cost model, there is little risk to retailers who do smaller order volumes. In addition to the software, retailers are also able to access ongoing technical support. All parcel management and customer service queries are handled entirely by HubBox’s London-based team.

Marcus Fountaine, founding director at  Fairfax & Favor expanded on how HubBox had worked for their e-commerce site, saying: “HubBox has been the most effortless e-commerce success to date. It easily plugs into our Shopify website to offer our customers a Click & Collect option that is both affordable and hassle-free for us, what a win-win”.

CCO, Greg Beszant added,  “It’s incredibly exciting to now be able to offer our market-leading services to virtually any retailer in the UK. This is an important step in reducing time to value for independent retailers, who don’t want to wait months to see the effect that adding Click and Collect as a delivery option can have”.
