London, 17th September 2018 – London-based accessories brand Skinnydip has partnered with Click & Collect software provider HubBox, enabling customers to collect their online purchases from over 4,000 local Collect Points, as well as from Skinnydip’s standalone stores.

Founded in 2011, Skinnydip’s colourful designs and tongue-in-cheek aesthetic have made them a firm success with stylish millennials. Today, their clothes, accessories, and stationery are sold in over 200 concessions globally, as well as in 14 of their own stores in the UK.

Brick and mortar shops have always been a core part of Skinnydip’s retail strategy, with thoughtful investment in making their stores more than merely a place to buy products – fun features such as photo booths, their very own nail salon (Nail Club), food and drink concessions, and even in-store DJs are de rigueur for Skinnydip.

Considering how important in-store shopping is to millennials, with 74% saying that they still prefer it to online shopping (source: I-AM), offering in-store Click & Collect is a shrewd move that will create a bridge between what the customer sees online and the overall brand experience they have when visiting a store.

HubBox’s in-store Click & Collect service will be rolled out to Skinnydip’s shops in September, complementing the local collection now available from over 4,000 HubBox Collect Points.

The end-to-end Click & Collect solution is installed at checkout, and HubBox also provides the software used to manage in-store collections.

Control over their delivery and having the best pickup experience is what matters the most to the youth market. This mobile generation expects to receive their products wherever they are, and at the most convenient/suitable time for them.

“Brands such as Skinnydip understand the importance of providing the next-generation customer with the best possible service, and more than ever, excellent service is synonymous with ease.” said Sam Jarvis, Founder and CEO at HubBox. “By offering their customers the choice between picking up their orders from a Collect Point that’s close to them, or from their nearest store when they’re looking for a brand experience, Skinnydip are able to deliver on the choice and ease of use that satisfies customer expectations.”

Skinnydip prioritised getting their Click & Collect solution up and running quickly. Co-founder James Gold said: “With the customer at the heart of everything we do here at Skinnydip, we wanted to offer a service that enables them to be able to collect their order with ease. Using a click & collect service that gives the customer several collection options is most definitely a step in the right direction for us. As a business we want our customers to have the best possible experience both online and in-store, and we feel like working with HubBox really takes us that step closer”.
